IHS Science Bowl is dedicated to the pursuit of scientific advancement. Our club is completely free to enter and participate in, and we do not charge for regionals.
We follow a merit-based system to determine tournament selection. See resources for the points spreadsheet.

We participate in numerous events throughout the year, such as the MIT Invitational, Regionals, and Sea Lion Bowl. We also hold our own events such as subject bowls and scrimmages.
All Irvington students are welcome to participate in any of our events. Tournament acceptance is based on points scored during meetings.
There are many ways to prepare for science bowl. Easily the most important is coming to meetings and simply playing the game. In fact, this is often enough. If you want to go above and beyond, though, there are additional resources that can help you.
Online resources include protobowl (which is mainly for Quiz Bowl, but has a Science Bowl section as well), question packets, Science Bowl DB, and more. Physical resources like books can also help.
